Deal: Softube Model 82
Model 82 is an authentic emulation of the legendary Roland SH-101 Synthesizer from the early ’80s. (1982). It features the same feature set as the original unit with a single VCO, source mixer, VCF, envelope, and LFO.
It also includes a recreation of the built-in sequencer and arpeggiator with DAW sync. Model 82 also offers three original, selectable color schemes in red, blue, and silver.
Besides the authentic features, Softube has added modern features to its emulation, including stereo doubling and drive. There is also an additional side panel with velocity and aftertouch control of the VCF and VCA.
A highlight of the Model 82 is that it comes in two different versions: the instrument plugin and as a version for the Softube Modular plugin. The latter gives you five modules (VCO, VCF-VCA, envelope, arpeggiator, effects), giving you a full modular SH-101 Synthesizer software replica.

It’s called Model 82 because the SH-101 was released in 1982.
sorry, It’s late here in Europe and I make mistakes, I’m not a robot.
I put a wavetable of the SH-101 oscillators into Serum and it sounded good, but that Roland filter is what it’s all about and the Model 82 does a great job at recreating it.
Got this since I was looking for a nice SH101 vst. There are a few available, the better ones are the one from TAL for $60, the recently upgraded Lush2 from d16 for $170 and Rolands own official cloud subscription based version. While Lush2 is the better featured version, Softube is the 1:1 to the og synth and for $20 it is a no brainer. I’ll be having plenty fun with this VST and for sure will keep Lush2 in the radar for when its on sale.
The Euro price is 19, not 15.
