Not officially announced as a deal but Plugin Boutique currently offers the latest Cherry Audio Synthesizer plugin Quadra with a massive discount.
According to the website, you can purchase Cherry Audio’s take on the ARP Quadra for just 8,21€/$9,21 USD. It’s a huge deal because you get Quadra as well on the official website for the introductory price of $39 USD and later for $59 USD. I think it’s a deal not to be missed if you like vintage Synthesizer emulations.
Cherry Audio Quadra
Only released in November 2021, CA Quadra is an emulation of the well-known ARP Quadra Synthesizer from 1978. The plugin is not an 1 to 1 software reproduction but an emulation with an expanded feature set.
The original had four ARP elements (Omni, Odyssey, Solina-esque string synth, and a divide-down organ with envelope) that were fixed assigned. In the Cherry Audio version, each instrument can be layered anywhere across the keyboard with increased transposition ranges. Then the poly Synthesizer section got an upgrade with new waveforms, an additional octave, oscillator drift, PWM, and more. Same applies to the Lead synth that now as an arpeggiator, new waveforms, and more
Also new is an effects sections including a modeled 14-stage phaser, chorus/flanger, echo, and reverb. These are also assignable to each layer, very handy. The plugin includes a multiple out version for maximum flexibility.
If you haven’t bought the plugin until today, you should really think about it now. The plugin will certainly not be that cheap anymore. Plus, if you buy from Plugin Boutique, you get a free plugin of your choice (Iceberg Audio Beatgrader, DJ Swivel Spread or CloudBounce with a 3-month subscription).
Cherry Audio Quadra is available now for 8,21€ instead of 47,77€ for a limited time. It runs as a 64-bit only VST2, VST3, AU, and AAX plugin on macOS (Intel + M1) and Windows. No information how long the deal is valid.
