Sinevibes has ported its excellent Eternal barber-pole flanger to the Korg plugin platform (prologue, minilogue xd & NTS-1).
At the end of May I reported the new version of the Eternal plugin from Sinevibes. A modern adaptation of a barber-pole flanger. We also know from Sinevibes that they have been making Korg plugins for several years very successfully. And the good news: Korg prologue, minilogue xd and NTS-1 users can now also enjoy this very high-quality flanger.
Eternal, with the same high-end sound engine and quality, has now also made it onto the Korg plugin platform.
Sinevibes Korg Eternal
Eternal is the Korg version of its macOS-only plugin Eternal v2, which I have already reported on. It’s barber-pole flanger that works like the Shepard tone effect. To achieve this unique sound, it uses an optimized engine with a super precise and calibrated LFO with six output signals.
This modulates and crossfades three flangers and they do this in a very unique way. It goes upwards or downwards in a seemingly endless fashion thanks to its through-zero phase. Further, it has built-in lag filters for noise-free, ultra-smooth parameter adjustements.
Nice release with which you can get new timbres out of your Korg synthesizer. And who knows Sinevibes, knows how high quality the releases are.
Sinevibes Eternal is available now for $19 USD as a Korg plugin and is compatible with the prologue, minilogue xd, and Nu:Tekt NTS-1. Existing Sinevibes customers are also eligible for special upgrade pricing.
