Sinevibes has expanded their line of FX plugins for Korg synthesizers (prologue, minilogue xd & NTS-1) with Ring, a new ring modulator effect.
The range of plugins for Korg synthesizers has grown again with Rings. This new ring modulator is based on a sine oscillator which, when multiplied by the input signal, produces an output containing all-new frequency partials. This is great for creating metallic, bell-like sounds. The engine also includes an envelope follower which can modulate the oscillator frequency with the input signal’s amplitude.
As in the previous Korg FX plugins, Sinevibes also relies here on high specs: Ring uses an algorithm that is built with 2x oversampling to reduce aliasing for a cleaner high-frequency response. Nice to see another great FX plugin for the Korg multi-engine synths.
Features
- Studio-grade DSP algorithms, calibrated specifically for Korg’s hardware platform.
- Individually chosen mapping on each parameter providing a very natural feel.
- Built-in lag filters for noise-free, ultra-smooth parameter adjustment
Sinevibes Ring is available now for $19 USD and is compatible with the Korg prologue, minilogue xd and Nu:Tekt NTS-1 Synthesizer. Don’t forget to check out the other Sinvibes Korg oscillators and FX plugins.
