Erica Synths Released Graphic VCO Firmware 1.1 Update & 6 New Eurorack Modules

Erica Synths has today announced the release of a new firmware update for the Graphic VCO that includes a new DRUM mode which allows you to use the GVCO as a versatile drum voice module. Besides this, it comes with fine tuning, calibration, and some minor bug fixes.

Additionally, the company announced the release of several new Eurorack modules which are now available to purchase. Five additions to the Pico lineup (BBD, LFO/S&H, Mixer, NOISE, SEQ2) as well as a new power supply unit (PSU) input module.

Overview

Pico BBD is surprisingly great sounding (we were surprised ourselves), full analog 4092 stage bucket brigade delay module; the smallest BBD in Eurorack. Besides nice and clean flanger and delay effects, at full CW settings of TIME and feedback knobs, it can produce extreme sonic artifacts. Tweak knobs and enjoy!

Pico SEQ2 is straight-forward, full analog 4 step sequencer/waveshaper with adjustable sequence length. If you want to have a simple, compact stepped modulation source in your setup, then this is it! Particularly interesting use of the Pico SEQ2 is waveshaping – just apply any audio source to the CLK IN, tweak the knobs and be amazed!

Pico NOISE is a versatile noise and percussion sounds source. It consists of white a noise generator, a resonant VCF to generate various colors of the noise – from extremely dark ones to high pitched resonant sweeps and a VCA/decay envelope generator combination to create range of percussion sounds to emulate hi-hats, cymbals, and even sine tone-based percussions when the resonance is full up.

Pico LFO/S&H

Pico LFO/S&H is full analog modulations source — including both LFO and Sample and Hold — providing a new dimension of controlled randomness to your modular setup in a small package.

The module features a full analog circuit, an LFO with triangle and square wave outputs and highly stable S&H circuit based on AS1100CK2 IC. It comes with input and output protection against over-voltage and protection against reverse PSU connection.

Pico Mixer

Pico Mixer is a simple 3 channel DC coupled mixer intended to mix AUDIO SIGNALS AND CV SIGNALS in order to obtain complex modulations. Also, it may serve as CV AND AUDIO attenuator.

PSU Input Module

If you consider to use rack ears to mount Erica Synths 84HP enclosure in the studio rack, you may want to access the PSU connection from the front of the case, instead of the top. Then the 4HP PSU connection module is a solution. PSU Input module is intended to be used with external PSUs which provide an output voltage from +9V to +12V (“+” in the center).
