KORG Prologue Synthesizer Firmware V.1.3.0 update is here and fix the tuning stability, improves the performance and includes free content!
At the NAMM Show 2018, KORG released the Prologue hybrid polyphonic Synthesizer. In the summer there were complaints about tuning problems on some units. These have now been fixed shortly before the end of the year with an update.
This OS update features also performance optimisations and bug fixes. For limited time, users can download for free a new oscillator for the multi-engine! Good to see this update just before the end of the year.
Overview
Prologue OS 1.30 improves overall tuning stability for all of prologue’s analog oscillators, while simultaneously decreasing the amount of time required to fully tune them. (Total estimated warmup time now around 5-10 minutes.)
Improvements In This New OS
- Tuning stability and performance has been improved
- Communication with the prologue librarian has been improved
- Minor bug fixes and stability improvements
In addition, UK synth developer DirtSynthBox has created a Custom Oscillator for prologue, “Origami”, that is available for free for a limited time through their website.
KORG also started featuring third-party content on the Librarian & Custom Content page, so make sure to check all the custom content already available!
The new Prologue firmware update is free of charge and available for download from the official KORG website.
