Ultimate Patches has released a new Roland JD-Xi patch library with 300 fresh, versatile sounds, including a pack with 15 free patches.
Synthesizers with built-in preset memory are very practical. You can save your sounds and call them up again anytime. Alternatively, you can import and explore sounds from third-party sound designers.
One of these companies is Ultimate Patches. They create new sounds for a wide range of hardware synths. They worked with the Roland JD-Xi hybrid Synthesizer for their latest sound pack.
Ultimate Patches Roland JD-Xi
It has to be said that the Roland JD-Xi is not the latest Synthesizer. It’s almost a vintage synth among modern releases, with its official release in 2015. It’s a hybrid polyphonic Synthesizer that uses an analog mono voice for basses and leads as well as a digital polyphonic synth voice architecture.
The new pack from Ultimate Patches features 300 new sounds it, covering a wide sonic spectrum: vintage, modern, and futuristic polys, leads, pads, and fx. It also includes non-synth instruments, including acoustic and electric pianos, B3 organs, guitars, basses, sitar, accordion, vibes, orchestral instruments, and many others.
It also covers a wide of genres. UP says:
This all-new set covers genres including classic pop & rock, synthwave, orchestral, cinematic, hip hop, vaporwave, shoegaze, country, latin, R&B, classic soul, reggae, jazz, trap, chiptune, modern pop, reggaeton, country, dubstep, deep house, tech house, trance, experimental, retrocade, retropop and more!
Free Pack
Don’t miss the patch taster pack, which gives you 15 JD-Xi sounds for free. It’s nice to see that there is still new sound content for the older Roland JD-Xi Synthesizer.
