Ryouta Kira has turned its KQ MiniSynth iOS AUv3 modular Synthesizer into a macOS plugin via a free update.
That was not all. After the Unotone, Dixie, and Sampei, the KQ MiniSynth by Ryouta Kira also got macOS support via a free update.
Released in the AppStore in 2017, the modular instrument is one of the oldest Synthesizer apps in the Apple AppStore. It has been regularly updated and expanded with new modules.
KQ MiniSynth
The macOS version of KQ MiniSynth is a 1-to-1 port of the iOS version. All features and the workflow are the same. KQ MiniSynth is a versatile polyphonic modular Synthesizer with many modules, including oscillators, filters, envelopes, LFOs, and more.
Sounds can be created by virtual patching just as you know it from a hardware modular Synthesizer. This year the app has been expanded to include a number of new modules: curve function, multiplier, all-pass filter, wave shaper, 8-step sequencer, bit crusher, low pass gate, and oscilloscope.

KQ MiniSynth is available now for $9.99 and runs as a standalone app and AUv3 plugin on iOS (iPhone and iPad) and macOS (Apple Silicon). The update is free of charge for existing users.
Important note: Unfortunately, the Mac App Store is known to have a display bug regarding apps already purchased on an iOS device. In this case, you should still be able to continue purchasing and download the app for free. It runs as a standalone app and AUv3 plugin on macOS (Apple Silicon required).
