d16 expands its SilverLine Collection with Spacerek, a new powerful room reverb that offers 114 different models all tweakable in an intuitive interface.
d16 group develops intuitive and great-sounding effect plugins. Above all, they are popular because they offer a lot in a small format and quickly fit into the mix. Spacerek is part of the SilverLine Collection and is a massive reverb processor with no less than 114 reverb models.
Spacerek’s core relies on classic room modeling but realized with a different approach. It features a proprietary hybrid algorithm that merges modeled virtual space into a dynamic delay network. This generates reverb tails with supremely realistic early reflections, dense, colorful late reflections, and separately adjustable ER and LR pre-delay time. They go even further by allowing the user to freely position microphones inside the virtual space.
Spacerek
There are 114 different room models to choose from with which you can experiment for a long time. The created reverb is then fed to a mixer that lets you adjust different settings. From the mix ratio of the unprocessed audio signal, the early reflection to the late reflections. Further, it offers a tilt equalizer and a low-cut filter, as well as a dry/wet control.
The plugin operates either in stereo or in mid/side mode. Great, even if the plugin seems very complex, it saves resources and uses little CPU. Not to forget, it has a resizable GUI and MIDI learn for easy controller assignments. All in all, the new d16 Spacerek plugin looks like an impressive reverb plugin. It’s feature-rich, modern, but also straightforward to use.
D16 Spacerek is available now in VST, AU, and AAX plugin formats and is on sale for the introductory price of 59€ until November 11th, 2020 (regular 79€). The SilverLine Collection now includes the Spacerek (479€) and Total Bundle (939€).
