Audiority Big Swarma is a new creative voice multiplier and feedback FX plugin, turning sounds into fat, unison, and aggressive soundscapes.
To make Synthesizer sounds broader, fatter, and more aggressive, we use more voices or simply the unison mode. But how do you do this with a synth without unison or any other sound?
There is now a solution from Italy. Audiority has released Big Swarma, a new multi-FX plugin that hosts elements that push every sound into new territory.

Big Swarma is a new voice multiplier and feedback FX unit plugin. The plugin does exactly what our beloved Unison modes of synthesizers do, but on all signals and even more.
The Audiority Big Swarma’s voice multiplier engine can multiply your signal up to 16 voices while retaining complete control over this process. You can adjust the detune, stereo width, and pitch modulation for lush unisons, aggressive textures, or shimmering drones.
For additional bottom end and character, the engine also hosts frequency modulation (FM) on the input signal and a sub-octave generator.
That’s not all. The developers also backed into Big Swarma, an intense feedback circuit capable of self-oscillation and FM harmonic mayhem. Turn it up, and your sounds become aggressive and full of character.
Alongside the multiplier and feedback unit, it also includes dual MS-20-style filters with highpass and lowpass. Each filter has dedicated cutoff and resonance controls, and a master cutoff gives you control over both.
That’s not all. Big Sewarma also features a modulation engine with an envelope follower and LFO, allowing you to modulate speed, spread, depth, and randomness for swarm-like effects. Pre and post-effect gain is also available.
Not to forget is that it also has a fully resizable interface and MIDI CC support. Audiority ships the plugin with various presets, showcasing its capabilities.
First Impression
This sounds like a handy, lovely FX plugin to give any sound power and character. Btw: I love that synth-like UI.
Audiority Big Swarma is available now for an introductory price of 39€ instead of 59€. It runs as a VST3, AU, AAX, and CLAP plugin on macOS (native Apple Silicon + Intel) and Windows.
