In 2022, UVI released SonicPass, a subscription service that allows users to access all products from the UVI portfolio for 24€ per month or 240€ per year. There were concerns about whethter this is the future of UVI products.
No, they will continue to offer customers the ability the options to buy plugins and sounds in the future. UVI is now underscoring this with the new SonicBundle, the permanent counterpart to SonicPass.
UVI SonicBundle
SonicBundle is the new flagship bundle features the complete UVI portfolio with all 116 products, over 1000 instruments and effects, over 37.000 hand-crafted presets, and 2 million samples.
The bundle includes the powerful, multi-engine Synthesizer plugin Falcon with all the expansion packs, including Analog Motion, Spectre, Ether Fields, Cinematic Shades, and more.
Then, it comes with all UVI studio effects plugins: Opal, Shade, Dual Delay X, Thorus, Sparkverb, Relayer, and more. SonicBundle also features all the sample-based virtual synth nstruments for Falcon and playble in the free Workstation. You get Synth Anthology 4, HX-Oddy, OB Legacy, Emulation II+, FM Suite, and many more.
Alongisde the synths, it also comes with multi-instrument collections like World Suite 3, Key Suite, and Orchestral Suite and sound FX and foley instruments like XTreme FX 2, Meteor, Drone, and Whoosh. Also onboard is the IRCAM Prepared Piano 2, Glass Orchestra, and Toy Suite.
In total, you get 772GB of soundbanks and Falcon expansions can be installed on an external drive if required. Once installed you can load, play and freely combine all sounds in the UVI Falcon Synthesizer plugin.
First Impression
The Sonicpass subscription service caused concerns among existing customers in 2022. It’s great that UVI is now addressing this with this bundle, offering the entire productportfolio with a permanent license.
UVI SonicBundle is available now for $799/799€. Existing UVI customers can benefit from the upgrade offers. For this, log-in your user account. The upgrade pricing is available through April 14th, 2025.
SonicBundle is compatible with all major DAWs, and includes support for concurrent activation on up to 3 computers or iLok keys.
