Synth East 2025, a Synthesizer festival organized by Robin Vincent), took place for the third time in February; here are the highlights.
Small Synthesizer events are great opportunities to meet and exchange with people with the same interests. The season kicked off with the Buchla and Friends event in LA in January. In February, this year’s season also began in Europe with Synth East 2025 in Norwich (UK).
Robin Vincent, writer for SOS Magazine and video creator of the Molten Music Tech YouTube channel, has organized the event for the third time. This year, it occurred between 21 and 23 February 2025 and was sold out in advance.

The festival includes films, performances, interviews, workshops, and an Expo that packs the auditorium with music machines from many manufacturers. There was much to see, from classic synthesizers (Korg, ASM, Arturia, PWM…), Eurorack modules (Blaknblu, Expert Sleepers…), and effect pedals to vintage synths.
Such events are exceptionally nice and welcome because they give small, independent companies a stage to show their products without spending much money for a booth.
I wasn’t at Synth East 2025 myself because the event is not as easy to get to as, for example, Superbooth. However, numerous British synth channels were there, and they captured lovely impressions from the three-day synth festival.
Judging by the videos, Synth East 2025 was once again a lovely, cozy festival. Congratulations to Robin Vincent, Norwich Arts Centre, and Electronic Sound Magazine for organizing it. I hope that a 2026 edition is already set.
