606ish Hihat is a new 4HP analog hi-hat generator module inspired by the legendary Roland TR-606 drum machine. NoisyFruitsLab says it’s a modern approach to this classic and legendary metallic sound element.

According to the developer, it’s designed around Schmitt triggers in common Roland tuning scale. From the interface, it’s a very simple module. It offers an “aggressive” tone and pitch control for tuning the triggers.

Additionally, it offers CV control over the decay and tune, giving you a lot of flexibility.

First Impression

A very simple module without surprises and groundbreaking additions. If you are looking for classic 606-inspired hi-hats for Eurorack, you have an affordable option with the 606ish Hihat module.

NoisyFruitsLab 606ish Hihat is available now for 100€.
