The new Momo software editor integrates the Roland JD-08 into your DAW, gives you full access to all parameters, and unlocks automation.
With the JD-08, Roland recently released his well-known vintage Synthesizer in a boutique version. It gives the same parameters as the original and even more. But this comes with a hefty amount of parameters which is not ideal to tweak on the tiny Boutique interface.
So far, there is no official Roland editor for the JD-08. However, Momo Müller, known for his affordable editor, now has a solution for you.
Momo Roland JD-08 Editor
The new Roland JD-08 editor by Momo is a standalone software and VST/AU plugin for macOS and Windows that gives you access to all parameters without activating individual tones. You get an overview of all layers in a single, easy-to-use interface where all four tones can be edited at the same time.
The new Roland JD-08 Synthesizer MIDI editor by Momo is available now for 6.90 EUR / $7.90 USD. It runs as a VST & AU plugin and standalone on macOS (Intel + M1) and Windows.
