KORG Minilogue XD Synthesizer With Digital Multi Engine For NAMM 2019?

KORG Minilogue XD should be a new polyphonic analog Synthesizer with a built-in digital multi-engine similar to the Prologue!

The KORG Prologue is certainly one of my 2018 Synthesizer highlights, as it combines analog and digital technology very clever. Above all, the multi-engine allows third party developers to build new oscillators, effects, etc., which is innovative and makes the Prologue very open.

A few hours ago, pictures of a new Minilogue xd appeared. Similar to the Volca leaks last week, I can not say if the information is correct or not. What we can see on the left side, is a multi-engine screen similar as in the Prologue Synthesizer as well as new joystick.

It would certainly be a clever move from KORG to incorporate this hybrid technology into other instruments, even cheaper ones. So they bring further hybrid synths, but also arouse interest in the developers, who can then certainly sell more licenses of their upcoming add-on program like the Sinevibes Turbo oscillator.

If this information is true, we will certainly hear from KORG shortly because they are already teasing a new product on Instagram for the NAMM Show 2019.
