After Moog Music, Arturia shows us something new even before the Superbooth. The French company has today released V-Collection 7, a major upgrade for their best-known software Synthesizer bundle. The new version features 2 brand new synth emulation, a vintage tape keyboard, and updates for existing plugins. The beginning makes the SYNTHI V which is an emulation of the legendary British Synthesizer EMS Synthi AKS.
Next, the bundle includes the CZ V, again an emulation and this time of the digital Casio CZ Synthesizer. For all friends of classic keyboards, there is also now an emulation of the iconic tape keyboard Mellotron included. All three new plugins are not simple emulations but have been extended with good features like function generators, custom sample import and more.
Besides this, the developers updated the B3 organ with a brand new engine, updated Analog Lab to v4 and released Synthopedia, a new collection of 800 new sounds. A nice new update in my opinion with some unexpected emulations to be honest.
