Waldorf will release a new hardware product on Thursday, November 27th, 2025, during a special event in Berlin.
Friday, November 28th, is the long-awaited Black Friday. The day before, November 27th (Thursday), is traditional Thanksgiving in America. One German company will also be taking advantage of this special date.
In a newsletter, Waldorf teases a new hardware product for Thursday evening.
Waldorf New Hardware
New Waldorf hardware is coming. Yes, that’s right, hardware, not another plugin or iOS. The newsletter says:
“Something new is brewing at Waldorf… and for the first time, we’re excited to announce it in a special event. Join us for the very first Synthsgiving in Berlin
On Thursday, 27 November, at 8 p.m. CET in Berlin, we’ll introduce a brand-new hardware. There’s not much more we can reveal yet , but as part of our community, we’d love for you to be among the first to experience it.
The evening will include an introduction to the hardware and a live performance from a Berlin-based artist (surprise, surprise). First drink on us!”
Aside from the M series, Waldorf has primarily introduced products in its Iridium line in recent years. The last one was the Iridium Core. The question is, where will this journey lead?
The teaser shows two turkeys looking at a device with plenty of knobs and a blue case. One thing is sure: the hardware is not the turkeys. But it is the one they are looking at.
Will we see another member in the Iridium family, or will they explore new directions? Some people want to see a Waldorf drum machine in the Attack plugin style. That would be something different.
A revival of one of their legendary vintage synthesizers is also possible, in the style of the M. Or will we finally see a Blofeld 2?
It’s interesting to see that Waldorf will host its first release event in Berlin. So it will probably not be just a gimmick product. Alternatively, a purely online campaign would have sufficed.
We’ll find out on Thursday. Stay tuned for the full news.

please a New microwave!
Put your Turkey in! 😃
A Kyra 2, since the Virus ti2 is sadly no longer available.
That would be wonderful news.
And who knows, maybe even a Virus ti2 and Kyra hybrid.
To be continued…
The blue color and knobs looks like the M. I’d say it’s an M keyboard.
The knobs are entirely different than the ones used on the M. It all looks very plastic-y to me, so I suspect some desktop toy ala Streichfett
Dear Tomy, the Waldorf Attack already existed as hardware in the 90s. It was called ➡️ Waldorf Rack Attack, and I owned one. I bought it new as soon as it appeared in stores, but I sold it because, for me, it had too much of a digital feel.
I’m very excited about this one, a capable little Waldorf desktop at a very decent price.
