ValhallaSupermassive 5.0 is the latest free update for ValhallaDSP’s massive free delay/reverb plugin, featuring a new Sirus algo.
One of the best deals on the plugin market is the free ValhallaSupermassive. It was released in 2020 and became an instant favorite among music producers. Thanks to its regular updates, the free delay/reverb plugin has become increasingly better and more comprehensive.
For Thanksgiving, ValhallaDSP gifts us with a new ValhallaSupermassive 5.0 update, featuring another algorithm.
ValhallaSupermassive 5.0
Supermassive 5.0 is available and remains a free download for everyone. With the ValhallaSupermassive 5.0 update, the number of algorithms increases to 22.
The new update introduces the Sirius algorithm, which provides a distinct echo/reverb effect with a fast attack, smooth decay, a low to very high echo density, and filtered feedback.
It also offers natural high-frequency rolloff (depending on the EQ settings). ValhallaDSP promises that it’s a true workhorse of an algorithm, great for clear and clean reverbs.
You can use it for any size of room, hall, or cathedral, as well as truly massive reverbs that retain clarity as they decay away.
This algorithm is also fully customizable using the plugin’s known parameters, including delay, warp, feedback, density, mod, and more.
First Impression

ValhallaSupermassive 5.0 is available now as a free update and runs as a VST, VST3, AU, and AAX plugin on macOS (native Apple Silicon + Intel) and Windows.

VirusTotal says the new version installer is a malware.
You can ask any developer. They all have problems with false messages like these in Windows.
Well, the installer of the previous version is clean. I’ll pass for now.
Thank You Valhalla for actively maintaining this wonderfull free plugin 🙂
