Magical Synth Adventure has published a long Gotharman’s retrospective, highlighting many of the Danish boutique synth company’s special synths.

Denmark is not only the home country of LEGO building blocks. The country also has companies that produce very special synthesizers. I’m referring here to the developments by the boutique company Gotharman’s, which I have already reported on several times.

Gotharman’s synthesizers are mainly characterized by custom analog, digital, or hybrid designs packed with advanced features. Many of them are very special and made for lovers of exotic synths.

A Gotharman’s Retrospective

Paulee, known from SonicTalk videocast, has published a lovely, extensive Gotharman’s retrospective on her channel, The Magical Synth Adventure. Here, you can immerse yourself deeply in the world of the Danish Boutique synth developer.

From the beginnings with the mini deMoon Synthesizer to today, for example, with the Zaturn modular synth with sampling, synthesis, and analog filters shown in the video.

In my opinion, Gotharman is one of those developers that needs more attention in the synth world. Even if the synths are not in the budget world, the developments are highlights that show what mini companies without marketing budgets can do.
