Analoguesque Sound Designs has released three 100% free patch libraries with 384 new sounds for the ASM Hydrasynth Synthesizer.

Ian Wilson, founder of Analoguesque Sound Designs has published three free banks with 128 sounds each for the Hydrasynth Synthesizer series.
Analoguesque Sound Designs Hydrasynth
Without any registration hassle, you can download three patch libraries for the Hydrdasynth for free. That’s almost 400 new sounds to explore.
The Analoguesque Bread and Butter I and II banks contain classic, universal presets. It contains from classy analog-style resonant sweeps to FM, dark and unstable “modular” leads, thumping basses, eerie pads, and more.
According to Ian, it also includes a patch called “the Fairlight ARR1 preset that tries to replicate the sound of this iconic sampler. Both banks I and II are a good mix of genres with plenty of bass sounds to keep you busy, and even some great “analog” drum and percussion for good measure.
The sounds of both banks also have full macro knobs assignments, giving you plenty of new sounds with just a little knob twists.
Besides these two, Analoguesque Sound Designs also offers the Esoteric I library with more unusual sounds like many atmospheres and large-sounding presets. It is described as a gap-filler for any composition and is most centered on pads and leads. But you can also find some good basses and FX sounds.
The patches also offer macro control support that further expands the sonic palette.
First Impression
It’s certainly a must-download for every Hydrasynth user. With almost 400 new sounds, you’ll be busy exploring them for a long time.

I finally got through all the patches and can’t believe this stuff is free! It took hours to get through them because a lot of patches grab your attention. I only started playing with the macro knobs half way through, so I had to go back to see what I had missed. It is definitely my kind of sound. Lots of dirty and grungy sounds, and some awesome pads! Macros provide lots of variation.
Came to say the same thing – really great and expansive collection here. Highly recommend.
