Ultimate Patches has released the new Prologue 2023 patch library featuring 333 fresh sounds for the Korg’s hybrid polysynth.
In 2018 Korg released the Prologue hybrid poly Synthesizer (8/16 voice) in which the multi-engine premiered for the first time, which later followed in the NTS-1 and minilogue xd. An innovative engine in which users can exchange oscillators and effect algorithms. The engine is still a topic today, but the Prologue is not.
Korg has gradually discontinued its flagship poly hybrid synth. The reasons are still unknown to this day. But one hears from various sides that the built-in power supply unit and the chip crisis are the reason for the discontinuation. All Prologue users now have a “vintage” synth. And there are fresh sounds for the Prologue series.

It would be interesting to clarify – what are the problems with the built-in power supply and with the chip?
There is a problem in EU with the power supply where Korg is no longer able to sell it. The missing chip is due of chip shortage
