Baby Audio Warp is a new free effects plugin for macOS, Windows and iOS based on the Transit 2 multi-FX made in collaboration with Andrew Huang.
In October, Baby Audio released Transit 2, the successor to its mighty multi-FX plugin, which was developed in close partnership with YouTuber/musician Andrew Huang. In addition to numerous new features, the new version offers ten new algorithms to explore.
One of these new algorithms in the Baby Audio Transit 2 plugin is called Warp and is now available as a free plugin. Plus, it continues the BA’s tradition of closing the year with a free plugin release.
Baby Audio Warp
Warp is a new free effects plugin based on the Baby Audio Transit 2 for macOS and Windows. The free plugin uses a unique algorithm that melts pitch-shifting and time-stretching in a new effect.
Once loaded in your favorite DAW, Baby Audio Warp lets users speed up or slow down audio with unprecedented clarity, free from the typical artifacts. It is a straightforward plugin with three controls: speed, stretch, and mix.
Speed is a pristine, artifact-free varispeed control to speed up or slow down audio effortlessly. Then, stretch gives you control over pitch independent of time, allowing for extreme effects, such as slowing down while pitching up.
The mix knob is a classic dry/wet mix control for blending the ‘warped’ signal with the original audio source.
Great, Baby Audio Warp is also available as a free AUv3 effects plugin for iOS. Here is a demo from The SoundTestRoom.

Baby Audio Warp is now available for free download. It runs as a VST, VST3, AU, and AAX plugin on macOS (native Apple Silicon + Intel) and Windows. Warp is also a free iOS (AUv3) app on the Apple AppStore.
Transit 2 is available now for an introductory price of $79 (38% OFF), and the update from Transit 1 is out now for 29€.
