Dove Audio latest 5U release is a VCF/VCA module that is based on the Korg NJM 2069 chip used in the Poly800 Synthesizer.

Paula Maddox, best known as a former lead developer at Modal Electronics, is currently working for herself in a relatively new company called Dove Audio. Here, she develops Eurorack and 5U modules. Their first products include the very exciting WTF and Waveplane oscillators, which are available for both formats.

Especially exciting for the 5U format because this system often offers only Moog Modular similar modules and less new concepts in digital form. This brings a nice breath of fresh air to the 5U systems. The same applies to the latest 5U release which is based on the Korg NJM 2069 VCF/VCA chip.

Dove Audio NJM 2069 VCF/VCA

This module harnesses the incredible sound of the Korg NJM2069 VCF/VCA chip, used in synths like the Poly800, DW8000, and DSS1. It has a full sound and has a huge low end ready to rumble any rig. The module features controls for cutoff, resonance, 12/24dB output mode, filter cutoff CV depth, resonance CV depth, VCA CV depth, and VCA gain.

It requires +15V and -15V power supplies (will also work with +12V and -12V). A nice new module from Dove Audio that brings some new timbres to the 5U world.

Dove Audio NJM 2069 VCF/VCA is available for £275 via built to order and usually ships in 7 days.
