The Signal Zirkus is a music association whose goal is to bring forward the live electronic music scene in Vienna. We (I’m part of the project) are trying to give both inexperienced and experienced musicians a stage to try their latest idea in front of an audience. As for a long time, we invite the musicians to talk in front of the camera about their musical influences and gear.
The first interview partner at the Signal Zirkus 020 was Manatee, a young electronic musician from Vienna, who enchanted the audience with a small but fine setup. He uses a modular synthesizer as well as a DIY version of the Sonic Potion LXR drum machine/synthesizer. Check out the video below for the entire video with Manatee.
