I recently released a major update for my preset library TRIBUTE TO JUNO that contains 60 presets for the TAL U-NO-LX Synthesizer. The update has no new sounds at the moment but has been extended with a very helpful other feature that fits perfectly to this synth.
Since the excellent Roland Juno-106 emulation does not have NKS support, I decided to change it. I transformed the entire factory library, many free sound libraries as well as my TRIBUTE TO JUNO library in NKS format. Important: I’m not an official partner of Native Instruments, so I don’t have access to the SDK so it’s not the full official support but it works fine with your NI controllers.
Access U-NO-LX’s Parameters From Your Native Instruments Controller
The result of this transformation is: over 600 NKS-ready presets which you can recall from the User section in the Komplete Kontrol software. All sounds have tags like ARP, Bass, Lead…, so you can quickly search for sounds from your controller. The decision to add NKS support to the great TAL U-NO-LX Synthesizer was easy for me, because this synth plugin has a perfect interface which invites you to play from a controller and on top, it brings a bit more Roland Juno feeling to it when you can play with knobs.
Advantages of NKS: U-NO-LX is operable from the keyboard with a visual representation of all controls, presets can be selected from the Komplete Keyboard /Maschine interface and you can benefit from the additional functions like adding effects, playing arpeggiators or with the internal chord maker.
How Do You Get This Update
To make it as easy as possible, I decided to put the NKS patches into my TRIBUTE TO JUNO library. That means: if you buy my preset library from my Gumroad store, you will get the NKS patches. Of course, you can save your own patches also with this library.
