This was not only a great deal but also a sign that a new version was on the way soon. It took longer than expected, but it’s here now. IK Multimedia has today released the Total Studio 5 MAX bundle in three versions, with upgrade offers for existing users.
IK Multimedia Total Studio 5 MAX: What’s New
Like the previous versions, there are three Total Studio 5 bundles: standard, Pro, and MAX, where the latter has everything from IK’s catalog.
The new IK Multimedia Total Studio 5 MAX bundle features five major new additions, including the full Pianoverse piano collection, the new T-RackS 6 MAX mixing and mastering workstation, and the ARC 4 room correction plugin. Also included are the new TONEX Signature Collections Volume 1 with nine TONEX expansions.
Additionally, it ships with the new AmpliTube Morley Collection, which includes classic stompbox effects.
Of course, it also includes everything from the previous Total Studio 4 MAX bundle, including versatile and detailed virtual instruments like SampleTank 4 MAX, Hammond B-3X, and SampleTron. Also part of the bundle is the physical modeling plugin MODO Bass & Drum, along with all its expansions.

First Impression
A solid update for the Total Studio Bundle. It’s certainly less exciting for electronic musicians. There are no new synthesizers, drum machines, and similar devices. But if you play guitar or want to upgrade your mixing and mastering arsenal, this looks like a great collection.
It’s positive that people who bought the TS4 MAX at a bargain price in the last few months can update for a very fair price.
