Gotharman’s has announced Touch Tuul, a new 32HP quad-channel multi-function module packed with audio and CV utilities for Eurorack.
Flemming of Gotharman’s from Denmark specialized in the development of particularly extensive synthesizers, drum machines and grooveboxes. The developer has also been making Eurorack modules for some time now.
With the Touch Tuul, a multi-function module is now coming onto the market where he packs a lot of the functionality of his desktop units into Eurorack.
Gotharman’s Touch Tuul
Touch Tuul is a new 32HP four-channel multi-function module for Eurorack. Each channel can host one primary and one utility function.
Among the main functions are digital oscillators, LFOs, dual filters, effect processors (chorus, distortion, wavefolder, stretcher…), CV-controlled mixers, and more. Then, the utility functions can be the touch screen keyboard, a built-in sequencer, and a draw wave modulator. In the latter, you can record control voltage.
According to Gotharmann’s, the menu structure of Touch Tuul has only a few pages (one main page, one menu page, and one preset page), ensuring fast navigation. Regarding presets, you can save 1024 presets in memory, allowing you to instantly restore and recall them.
On the interface side, it has four high-quality metal potentiometers for editing parameters, two push buttons, and a 4.3” multi-touch, color display.
The I/O offering is also extensive with:
- 24-bit audio/trigger/clock inputs (4x)
- 16-bit high precision CV/gate/clock inputs (4x)
- 16-bit audio/CV/gate/clock outputs (4x)
- 12-bit audio/CV/gate/glock outputs (2x)
- two gate/clock/square-wave outputs *1
All channels can be connected both internally and externally via mini-jacks. Good, all eight modulation inputs run in audio range.
Plus, you have eight LEDs, giving you additional visualization of the acitvity of the 8 outputs. Besides this, you can find MIDI in/out for clock, notes, CC’s and updates.
Gotharman’s Touch Tuul has a draw on the +12v: 130 mA, -12v: 35 mA.
First Impression
At first glance, an exciting multi-function tool. I like that it is more hands-on with its display than the Expert Sleepers Disting, for example.
Gotharman’s Touch Tuul is now available for pre-order at a special intro price of 700€ instead of 779€. Production is expected to start one week after 30 pre-orders have been placed, or in the beginning of October.

It will be interesting to see how this compares to the functionality of the 4ms Meta Module. I do like that the Touch Tuul has a touch screen, which is a feature the Meta Module does not have. At similar price points it might be a hard decision if choosing between the two modules.
