Deal: get the Native Instruments Maschine+ standalone groovebox box as B-Stock for 599€ (40% OFF) in the official NI Reverb store.

Native Instruments has been running an official store on Reverb.com for several years. Here they mainly offer older products at very attractive prices. I have reported on this several times, including deals on the Maschine MK2 for 129€.

Today, the big brother of the Maschine is on a big sale. Native Instruments has put a stock on Maschine+ B-Stock (checked) on sale for 599€ instead of 999€ (current street price). That’s a big 40% OFF discount.

Deal Native Instruments Maschine+

Maschine+ for 599€ is an excellent deal, especially because it’s not a private second-hand sale but directly from Native Instruments. In detail, the B-Stock units have been checked by the NI team and have a manufacturer warranty.

When the NI Reverb Store started, I ordered a Maschine Mk2 for curiosity for 129€. This arrived from Germany in 2-3 days and was in mint condition. Apart from a large B-Stock sticker on the box, I couldn’t see any B-Stock or defects visually or technically.

My experience is very positive, and I have only heard good things from many people. In any case, if you have problems, a 14-day return policy allows you to get your money back.

What Is Maschine+?

Maschine+ is the standalone version of the Maschine MK3 software and controller powered by a quad-core Intel CPU and 4GB of RAM. It has 16 velocity-sensitive pads 8 touch encoders, and tons of buttons for menu navigation.

The sample engine has taken over from the Maschine software, including the workflow, note repeat, vintage sampler emulations, and more. There is also a relatively new autosampler built-in, allowing you to capture the sounds from your hardware synths, etc.

In addition to sampling, it has built-in synthesizers, a drum machine, and effect plugins based on popular NI plugins, including Massive, Monark, FM8, Prism, Raum reverb, Phais, and more.Plus, various sounds from Reaktor and Kontakt instruments are built into the unit.

The hardware also offers a 44,1 kHz/24-bit audio interface with  2 x 1⁄4” TRS line outputs, 2 x 1⁄4” TRS line inputs, 1⁄4” dynamic mic input, and a stereo headphone output,

MIDI I/O, a footswitch socket, and two USB host ports for MIDI controllers and external HDDs are also onboard. WiFI and Ableton link give you wireless installation and updating of products and syncing with other gear like Ableton Live or iPad apps.

Maschine+ Impression

I have been using the Maschine+ for almost two years. Yes, the Intel Atom CPU is somewhat limited, especially when you load all the tracks with Monark. However, if you use the built-in machine drum synths and various plugins, the performance is sufficient.

I’ve had projects with 20 tracks (drum synths, massive, FM8, Monark…) and effects, and the CPU wasn’t nearly at its maximum.

If you’re expecting the same update fireworks as the MPC, I’m afraid I’ll be a bit disappointed here. Native Instruments releases updates less frequently. But don’t worry, it runs very stable and has no crashes.  A lot has been optimized in the last updates.

For 599€, you get a great groovebox. Compared to grooveboxes in the same price range, you get significantly more here. The built-in synths are particularly great here. And for anyone interested in a Mk3 Maschine, this is the better deal. You get here hardware and software in one. You can also use it as a MIDI controller if you prefer working with the software.

The deal on the Native Instruments Maschine+ (B-stock) is available now for 599€/$629. Change the location on the bottom of the reverb store to access the US store.

  1. I came across them accidentally & instantly bought one. Also came with 11 (9 + 2) expansion packs, which was unexpected. Was in immaculate condition & all original packaging, although also b-stock sticker. Great deal & looking forward to see what this years Maschine update will be..
