Harley Benton Spaceship PowerBar is a new pedalboard series with a built-in power supply and internal battery for your guitar pedal setups.
For some time now, I have been working more intensively with effects. In hardware as well as software. When it comes to hardware, there is no getting around guitar pedals. A massive selection of exciting processors fits well with synths and electronic sounds. If you want to order or combine pedals, it is difficult to avoid a pedalboard.
With the Spaceship PowerBar, Thomann’s brand Harley Benton has introduced a new, exciting pedalboard series that offers features that makes like with pedals much easier.
Harley Benton Spaceship PowerBar
At first glance, the Spaceship PowerBar looks like any standard pedalboard. But it is not. Clever technology is hidden inside that significantly simplifies power management.
The new series includes six new Spaceship pedalboards in different sizes. They all feature an integrated PowerBar power supplies with up to 13 outputs depending on the model. For example, the biggest model the Spaceship Power 80-B, comes with 11 isolated outputs, while the more compact has seven isolated outputs. On each output, you also have an LED indicator. There are also four non-insolated outputs.
It offers power outputs in different configurations, including 9V/250mA, 9V/500mA, 9/12/18V – 500mA and a dedicated 9V/3A for more power hungry effects.
So you no longer need to use individual power supplies for the pedals. Everything has been integrated into the pedalboard. And it gets even smarter.
Internal Battery
Besides the internal power supply, the new series also comes with a rechargeable battery allowing you to create an all-mobile setup. It comes with a high capacity, ranging from 4.500mAh to 9.000 mAh, and quick charging times that range from 1.7 to 3.4 hours.
Plus, each output has an LED to monitor the power wit
Upgrade Option
The Spaceship pedalboards have been bestsellers for a long time and the developers have given the user the freedom to retrofit the power option themselves, already with the previous power supply-only versions. Now, you can also upgrade your existing Spaceship pedalboard with these new specifications. That’s really nice.
According to Harley Benton, they run from 100V – 240V making them compatible with international setups.
First Impression
I wanted to get the Spaceship Power for my studio. But this was sold out for a long time. Now there is the whole thing with Battery, which makes it more interesting. I find the idea of a pedalboard with an internal power supply very practical and much more elegant than having 10 power supplies lying around that you still stubble about.
The new Harley Benton Spaceship PowerBar pedalboards are available now starting at 139€. Each package includes the pedalboard, the power supply, the cables, and more.
