UVI has updated its hybrid virtual instruments Augmented Orchestra to version 1.1 with over 100 new sounds, and new sound sources.
Orchestral sounds give each track an epic character. You can do this with a real orchestra or with sample libraries, the much more affordable option and the most popular among music producers. An advantage of such sample libraries is that you can easily combine them with other sounds.
So-called hybrid orchestral libraries are becoming increasingly popular where you can pair classic orchestral sounds with synths. For example, UVI has such an exciting instrument in its portfolio with the Augmented Orchestra. For this, there was now a nice free update.
UVI Augmented Orchestra 1.1 Update
Augmented Orchestra is a four-layer virtual instrument based on hybrid orchestral multi-samples. It is not limited to classic orchestral content but also offers rich electronic strings, pads… from synthesizers, and other electronic instruments.
Each layer can be adjusted in detail and mixed together separately into one big instrument. You can also add effects, set sounds in motion, and use an arpeggiator.
The new update 1.1 of Augmented Orchestra is free for existing customers and brings new sound content to explore. It comes with a new Future preset category packed with 100 newly designed patches with a big focus on modern sound design. In total, you get over 130 new layers and presets to play straight away.
Further, it also ships with 35 all-new source layers to use for your own patch design.
AO offers native 64-bit standalone operation by way of Falcon or the free UVI Workstation, providing comprehensive support for all modern DAWs and simultaneous authorization on up to 3 computers or iLok keys.
UVI Augmented Orchestra 1.1 is available now as a free update for existing customers. New users can buy it now for $199/$199 USD through October 2nd, 2022 (reg. $299/299€).
