Deal: The Korg opsix, an innovative 6-operator FM Synthesizer that goes beyond classic FM has dropped 25% in price, now 559€

The opsix is a fascinating next-generation FM Synthesizer. Yes, that’s because Korg built an FM synth that is accessible, easy-to-use, and goes beyond the classic DX7 possibilities. The 6 operator modes, different waveforms, filters… make sounds possible that you can’t find in any other modern FM synth: virtual analog, west-coast, and more. In my in-depth review you can check out all little details of it.

Now the actual news: the Opsix started with a price of 749€ in Europe. Now the first big price drop seems to have happened. Thomann is currently offering the opsix for 559€, which is a 25%+ discount compared to the launch price.

Korg Opsix deal

A price that pushes the synth into significantly more affordable synth fields. I don’t know how long the price will be there.

  1. Not so nice for early buyers. And what does this mean for the other two in this series/formfactor?
Hope this means that a OpMpdWaveStateSix desktop version or deluxe version (with.%#&! Aftertouch) is around the corner.
