Rift Feedback Lite is a free download and is powered a physical modeling feedback engine. It includes comb filters, tuned resonators, and various synced delays. The interface is very simple. It gives you the option to adjust the time, spread, and the feedback. Plus, you get a pair of lowpass and high pass filters for further tone shaping options. It also offers a stereo spread and ping pong modes.

According to the developer, the feedback engine can be tuned to the key of your track thanks to the built-in preset scales. Further, there is a MIDI input that allows you to play the feedback like an instrument. That’s a neat functionality.

It looks like a very interesting free effects plugin. Feedback gives you tons of interesting ways to create sounds. It’s perfect for subtle up to crazy effects that goes in the direction of physical modeling. I can only say: don’t miss it!

Minimal Audio Rift Feedback Lite is available now for free for a limited time ($29 USD) and runs ons macOS and Windows 10 in VST, VST3, AU, and AAX plugin formats.
