After KORG recently released a new version of Gadget for iOS with the new Stockholm by Reason gadget, it’s now time for a new macOS version. The new version of KORG Gadget for Mac (v.1.6.1) features now also Stockholm in form of a Gadget but also as a plugin for VST/AU/AAX/NKS.
This new release is a collaboration between KORG and the Swedish software company Propellerhead Software. In my opinion it’s a big move for PS because it’s already the second plugin release in 2018 and shows that the company goes new ways.
Overview
The award winning music production app KORG Gadget, that has received numerous awards, is now available for the Mac. It comes with the complete collection of gadget instruments, and also lets you use them as plug-ins in DAW. A unified single-screen interface that fully utilizes the large display of the Mac makes music production workflow intuitive.
Inter-operation with the iOS version via iCloud, powerful functionality for exporting to Ableton Live, and many other new included technologies bring you additional production possibilities and creative enjoyment.
