Superbooth 2018: Intech Studio Announced Grid Modular MIDI Controllers

At Superbooth 2018, Intech Studio from Budapest announced Grid,  a new lineup of modular MIDI controllers. The interesting part of these controllers is the way how you can arrange them. With a simply click, you can put together two or more controllers to one new MIDI controller.

Beside these innovative MIDI controllers, the developers also presented a Eurorack version that can work with control voltages.

Overview

Grid is a modular MIDI controller product line designed by Intech Studio. Three core modules are B16, PBF4 and P4. Grid controllers are interconnected by the magnetic connectors on the sides of the modules. The controllers are interchangeable, the control surface can be reconfigured at any time. The whole control surface connects to the PC through a single USB cable. 

All of our controllers feature high resolution tactile controls, RGB LED’s and a machined aluminum frontpanel.

The A4 module is the bridge between the Grid and analog gear. A4 is equipped with 8 stereo jack sockets that can be programmed to perform various functions:

  • Clock/Sync
  • CV/Gate
  • Wavetable VCO
  • ADSR
  • Sequencer
  • and more
