At Moogfest 2018, Critter &Guitari presented ONDA, their latest development which is a new electronic instrument with an open engine
Not only the Superbooth is a perfect opportunity to present new products for a company but also the Moogfest. On this year’s Moogfest, Critter & Guitari presented ONDA, a new music instrument with an open engine. The design of ONDA is similar to the previous released instruments but doesn’t have a display.
The ONDA combines many aspects of the Organelle and Pocket Piano instruments. Same as the other instruments, it’s fully programmable and can load own-designed patches or from the library. This can be samplers, drum machines, synths and much more. At this point, there is only one video available from Moogfest where the developer explain the new instrument. All informations about the ONDA will follow as soon as possible.
Take one of the first looks at the ONDA, a new musical instrument computer from Critter & Guitari that runs patches that can mimic a variety of behaviors, from simple synths to complex algorithmic generators. With an open platform as it’s base, it possesses the potential to grow a community of artists creating and sharing their own patches with one another.
