Something I see yesterday is that Native Instruments reduce the prices for their old classic Synthesizers. Absynth 5, FM8 and Massive go down in price to 149 Euro. This is an discount of 50 Euro and it’s not a limited time discount. Interesting to see that they make this decision. The reason is maybe that plugins are becoming more and more affordable in the past time. Only the very high-quality stuff, is actually in this price range. Check the new Sugar Bytes Factory Synthesizer. It’s also only 139 Euro and so we can think that maybe this limit of 150 Euro is the price range for high-quality Synthesizer.
Become Synthesizer Plugins more and more affordable when people want more hardware? We will see how the market will evolve in the next years. Personally, I think the price will go down in future but who knows, we will see it.
