Force blurs the lines between contemporary music production solutions and the latest technologies available for DJ performance, a first among the industry standards. By merging clip triggering, step-sequencing, sampling, but also in-house synthesis engines, not to mention the latest-generation touchscreen, all in one stand-alone performance equipment, the Force combines the essential features to offer ultra-intuitive ergonomics and allow you to give free rein to your creativity.

News From 2 January 2019
Among the most popular controllers for Ableton Live is the APC series by Akai. With the release of Push 1 and 2, Ableton has stirred up the market nicely. Now Akai seems to follow suit. Today images have leaked of a new APC Live controller that looks like a fusion of an Ableton Push and MPC Live controller.
If we can trust the leaked pictures, the new APC Live controller features a pad layout similar to the Push controller, left/right smart buttons, 8 mappable knobs and a large (touch) display and more.
On the back you can see that the controller has an audio interface built-in with two inputs with 48V, four outputs, MIDI In/Out/Thru over DIN cables and 4 CV/Gate connections.
On the right side, it will have a USB hub, a USB connection, an ethernet connection as well as a power supply input.
On the front there are also a phones output, a cue mix as well as an SD card slot for saving maybe you setups.
Whether it is only a controller for Ableton, I can not say so far. Since the device also has an audio interface and SD slot, it may also be that it can work standalone. All details are to be expected for end of January at the NAMM 2019.
