In case you didn’t know. Applied Acoustics Systems, or AAS, is an expert in physical modeling synthesis and offers a range of high-quality Synthesizer plugins. The latest is the Lounge Lizard EP-5, a physical modeling-based electric piano that can be adjusted down to the last detail.

I know plugins also cost money with a discount. In case you want to save money, there is also the free AAS Player, a virtual instrument based on the physical modeling engines of their flagship synths. Users of this plugin receive new sounds for free, approximately monthly.
Currently, the AAS Player with the Swatches library features over 800 high-quality sounds. A downer, they can be modified in the sound, but they cover a wide range.
