Deal: Yamaha SEQTRAK, a mighty portable groovebox with synthesis and samples, is now on a special sale for 190€.
Amazon Prime Day October Edition kicked off this morning. One of the highlights is a deal on the Yamaha SEQTRAK groovebox. This deal just got even better.
Amazon.de has reduced the price from 299€ to 254,02€ and now to 190€ for the orange version. Musicstore.de, Germany’s second-largest music instrument retailer, reduced the price to 199€, also for the black version of the SEQTRAK.

The SEQTRAK launched for 399€ in January 2024 and has been offered for 299€ for the past few months. Now, at 199€, that’s 50% off the original launch price.
For the 190€/199€ deal, you get a lot. The Yamaha SEQTRAK is a battery-powered mobile groovebox packed with features.
It features seven sample-based drum tracks, two AWM2-based sample-based synth tracks, one four-operator FM voice based on the Yamaha DX, and one sampler track.
Then, it has a per-track and global effects section with various algorithms and performative controls.
The heart of every groovebox is a sequencer, which is also part of the SEQTRAK. It has a flexible sequencer with up to 128 steps with parameter locks, motion sequencing, ratcheting, and ratcheting “substeps” for complex rhythmic sequencing.
On the connection side, it has a 3.5mm TRS audio input for sampling, a headphone output, and a USB for audio and MIDI. Furthermore, it features MIDI In/Out sockets via an included adapter and Bluetooth MIDI support.
An internal battery that charges via USB-C completes the entire feature set. Almost forgotten: there is also a dedicated SEQTRAK app for computers and mobile devices that displays all the engine’s parameters.
€190 or €199 for the Yamaha SEQTRAK is a great deal. The reason why this discount is being applied is unknown. Let’s hope it’s not already end-of-life.

Also a feature which I like to mention: You can change or upgrade the internal battery with only use by a screwdriver. It is a standard 18650 battery.
