Vostok Instruments Hive is a new 10HP quad stereo mixer module for Eurorack with built-in quad pan automation.

Mixing in Eurorack is essential, as it allows you to get the different sound sources into the perfect ratio. It’s a must-have if you have more than two different signals in your rack.

Hive is a compact 10HP 4-channel stereo mixer for Eurorack. Each channel of the Vostok Instruments Hive mixer offers stereo inputs on two mono 3.5mm sockets with independent gain and pan controls.

A neat addition is the ability to boost incoming signals to match the level of your different modules perfectly. This means you can also input signals from your non-Eurorack synths and drum machines, and the mixer matches them to the level of your system.

Then, the panning works with a custom panning-law slope of -1.5 dB attenuation at the center position, ensuring smooth balance transitions.

Alongside manual panning, you can also automate each channel with a control voltage signal using the four independent CV inputs.

This opens up a wide range of applications, such as using them as pseudo VCAs, complex stereo field routings, crazy audio-rate modulations, and more.

Great, several modules can be chained together using the dedicated connectors located at the back. This makes it possible to expand the mixer with more channels or use them for submixes.

Further, there is a master bus section with a stereo output with a dedicated attenuator knob on two 3.5mm mono sockets. Plus, it has LED visualization for signal feedback.
