AudioThing Springs (macOS, Linux, Win, iOS), free update 1.3.4 adds two new spring reverb types and more, plus a 50% OFF sale.
Good news from Carlo of AudioThing. He just released Springs 1.3.4, a free cross-platform update for its advanced spring reverb plugin.
The new update adds two new spring reverb types: Springray in mono and stereo and Synthi Model of the EMS Synthi A from Hainbach’s studio.
Besides this, it comes with new graphics controls for the brightness and contrast of the UI, which can be found in the settings. The new version also supports macOS 14 Sonoma and has improved tail block size management.
The new Springs 1.3.4 is a free update for existing users of the desktop (macOS, Linux, Windows) and of the iOS versions. AudioThing Springs is now in a 50% OFF sale for a limited time to celebrate this new release.

Since last Christmas, AudioThing has been releasing its plugins for iOS and Linux step by step. I am pleased about the iOS port as I am a big fan and user of the mobile music platform.
The next plugin now has made it: Springs is now available for iOS and Linux.
AudioThing Springs iOS Linux
Like other releases, the Springs app is based on the same macOS/Windows and now Linux plugin.
It features a collection of iconic vintage spring reverbs, ranging from a long 6-spring pipe to a tiny battery-powered single-spring unit. Among others, you will find here the GBS, Spacexpander, Roland RE-201, SuperReverb 76, and more. The full list is available on the AudioThing website.
The core uses a combination of convolution techniques and physical modeling to recreate the vintage character of each reverb, says Carlo from AudioThing. Then, it hosts a Baxandall EQ, emulating the most iconic and unique-sounding tone stack EQs. Besides classic features (bass and treble bands), they also added a mid-band with control over the Q.
Another very welcome release from Audiothing. I’m curious about what the next plugin port will be.
AudioThing Springs is available now for an introductory price of $11,99/14,99€ until February 7th, 2023 (reg. $19,99 USD/23,99€). Springs is also available for macOS and Windows. Plus, for Linux. On sale for 39€ instead of 69€ for a limited time.
