Deal: For a limited time, Yamaha reface DX and reface CS portable synthesizers are up to 44,45% off in the US.
Everyone has their favorite synthesizers that they would never sell—or only in emergencies. The Arturia MicroFreak and the Yamaha Reface CS are my all-time favorites. Both are ear candy for me. Whatever you do, they sound awesome.
One of my favorites is now available at a big discount in the US. The reface DX, the FM pendant of the CS, is also on sale.
Deal Yamaha reface DX CS
Both synths are currently priced at $449,99 in the US (source: Perfect Circuit…). However, the US-based retailer Sweetwater has massively dropped the prices of the two Yamaha synths.
The reface CS is an 8-voice polyphonic virtual analog Synthesizer powered by a multi-type oscillator (super saw, pulse, FM, sync, ring mod…), filter, envelope, LFO, built-in LFO, and phrase looper. It’s now $299,99 instead of $499,99. That’s a 33,33% OFF discount.
A major strength of the reface CS is its user interface. Instead of menu diving, it has a slider for each function, allowing you to program the synth in a very analog way. Presets, however, cannot be saved in the hardware but in an app, a downer of the synth.
Then, the price of the reface DX synth has dropped from $449,99 to $249,99. That’s a 44,45% OFF discount.
It’s an 8-voice polyphonic FM Synthesizer powered by a dynamic and expressive additive/FM synthesis engine. It has four operators that can be linked in 12 different algorithms.
Two 4-stage envelope generators (amp, pitch) and a multi-wave LFO are also available. Plus, it hosts an onboard multi-effects processor. Unlike the reface CS, you can save up to 32 patches in the hardware.
Two great deals. If the reface DX were available in Europe at that price, I would get one.
The deal on the Yamaha reface CS ($299,99) and reface DX ($249,99) is available for a limited time.
