New video demo showcases the Soundtoys Superplate multi-type plate reverb plugin with analog and digital hardware synthesizers.
Surprisingly at NAMM 2022, Soundtoys announced Superplate, a new FX plugin. This was the first new plugin from Soundtoys in many years. Superplate is an exciting plate reverb with a rich, well-curated feature set.
The plugin has been on the market since May 2023. Since the Soundtoys plugins are still on a special holiday sale (until today), it was a perfect time to do a sound demo with hardware synths and Suerplate. BTW, hardware and software are still an underrated sound design combination.
What I can say is that Soundtoys Superplate sounds very good in the demo and also harmonizes well with hardware synths. Get an overview in the linked video.
