I like AudioThing’s plugin creations because they are very intuitive and creative to use. They are not plugins that are fully loaded with features, but rather a small set that offers immediate control over the sound.

AudioThing Wave Box
Wave Box is a dynamic dual waveshaper effects plugin offering both symmetrical and asymmetrical distortion. The core consists of two separate waveshapers with mixing options. Powerful is the ability to craft own waveshape curves by combining 12 pre-defined functions.
They can be modulated by two multi-wave LFOs and an envelope follower. Plus, it features a multimode filter (LP, BP, HP, notch) with pre- and post-filtering options. You can also upgrade the plugin in sound quality by raising the oversample up to 16x.
Wave Box can range from mild tube-flavoured overdrive to extreme digital harshness, promises AudioThing.
AudioThing Space Trip
Space Trip is a modular channel strip multi-effects plugin featuring six distinct modules: Contour, Vibe, Slapback, Ambience, Ensemble, and Stereo. Modular because you can arrange the modules in any combination by simple drag-n-drop.
Contour is a simple 2-band EQ. Then, Vibe is a stereo vibrato, Slapback a short echo, and ambient a short reverb. Then, the ensemble is a multi-voices chorus, and finally, you get a stereo manipulator. There is also a master section with gain and dry/wet controls.
Space Strip will add depth and space to your sounds, especially synth and keyboards, says AudioThing. Plus, it’s a lightweight plugin on the CPU.
Both plugins also feature a preset browser and a handy randomizer, giving you instant new results.
AudioThing Wave Box and Space Trip bundle is available now for $18 at Audio Plugin Deals until October 31, 2023. They run as a VST, VST3, AU, AAX, and CLAP plugin on macOS (Intel + native Apple Silicon) and Windows. Space Trip is also available for Linux.
