U-he has updated its analog modeling synth plugin Diva to 1.4.6 with next-gen NKS support, better CLAP support… and the plugin is now 25% OFF.
With the release of the new Kontrol S Mk3, Native Instruments also introduced the next generation of the NKS standard. This is an integration technology that brings together hardware and software.
Plugins that are NKS-compatible run in the Komplete Kontrol plugin and can be controlled directly from the Native controllers without mapping them beforehand. The developers promise even deeper integration of plugins with the new generation. One of the first plugins to benefit from this is Diva from U-he. The new update 1.4.6 is now available.
U-he Diva 1.4.6
The new Diva 1.4.6 update is a free update and includes several new additions, especially in terms of plugin compatibility.
As a reminder, Diva is an analog modeling Synthesizer plugin with a phenomenal sound. It offers various oscillators, filters, and envelope types modeled on legendary synths such as the Minimoog, Juno, or MS-20.
Update 1.4.6 supports the new generation of the NKS standard. The exact new features of this are not yet entirely early. U-he says it brings an optimized integration with the latest NI hardware (Kontrol keyboards, Maschine).
Then, the U-he developers updated the CLAP support of Diva. This shouldn’t lead to any more problems. There is also now support for native Apple Silicon AAX. It takes a little longer for Pro Tools to run natively with AAX.
With the upcoming release of the new macOS, U-he has also made the plugin compatible with it. I would like to see this from all developers. The plugin now also runs officially on macOS Ventura. It also comes with support for MTS-ESP micro tuning on Linux and better Windows installers.
