Jexus (Sounds For Synths) has published a new patch library for the Korg Modwave hardware/VST wavetable Synthesizer with 250+ patches
The Modwave is Korg’s new digital Synthesizer. After wave-sequencing and reimagined FM, the user can explore deep wavetable synthesis in hardware. All three digital Korg synths share engines that go very deep and offer a lot. For many, this versatility goes too far. They want to make music instead of building sounds down to the last detail.
Sound designer and YouTuber Jexus, is known for his sensitivity in getting exceptional sounds out of every engine. His newest test object is the Modwave and with this, he built a new fresh patch library that is compatible with both the hardware and software version.
Korg Modwave Jexus
Modwave needs new sounds. That’s what Jexus thought too. His new patch library consists of over 230 performances in total, which translates into more than 250 new patches/sounds in total.
According to Jexus, the library doesn’t follow a specific style. It features a wide range of sounds that are meant to inspire and make you look at the synth in a different light. Some patches are bread & butter, some offbeat – they’re the result of me trying to find the limits of the instrument and give you great freedom of choice of timbres and dynamics.
For all those who are looking for new patches for the Modwave, you get here a library that is on a very high level.
The new Korg Modwave Jexus patch library is available now for $26,90 USD / 25,90€ or £ 23,90
