Erica Synths has announced taking over the manufacturing, sales, and support of reissued Hexinverter Electronique modules ( Mutant Brain…)
An excellent news is coming from Machina Bristonica 2023. Girts from Erica Synths has confirmed in a new Sonicstate video that the Hexinverter Mindphaser, will be released next week. This is one of the modules that Erica Synths took over from the Hexiverter company end end.
Hexinverter Mindphaser is a complex oscillator with a unique feature set, including intermodulation, modulation bus, unique waveshaper, thru-zero phase modulation, and more. It comes with an intuitive color-coded interface giving your visual feedback.
According to Girts, they will announce and start shipping the Hexinverter Mindphaser next week with a price tag between 450€ and 500€. So less than the version from Hexinverter.

In September 2022, Stacy Gaudreau, founder of Hexinverter Electronique, announced closing down the operations at a yet undetermined date within 2023. This major decision came about due to the ongoing supply chain problems, which particularly affected small developers.
After WMD, this was another unfortunate news for the Eurorack community. Today we know: it’s not the end of Hexinverter. Erica Synths has announced that they will cooperate with Stacy Gaudreau and will revive some of its unique modules.
Following their announcement Erica Synths in cooperation with Hexinverter Électronique saw a way for their incredible and truly unique music instruments to keep on inspiring musicians and finding home in countless studios to come.
We strongly believe the effort and innovation incorporated in Hexinverter Électronique eurorack modules is far too great to prematurely become history.
Erica Synths Hexinverter Électronique
This is very welcome news. However, it will not be a complex reboot of the activity. Erica Synths will take over the manufacturing, sales, and support of the following reissued Hexinverter Électronique modules: Mutant Brain, Mindphaser, and Mutant Machine.
Important: while retaining all functionality of the modules, ES has redesigned the hardware and will provide support for the reissue modules only.
Mutant Brain The First Release
The first release is the comeback of the Mutant Brain, a super neat module when it comes to combining and connecting the modular with external MIDI gear. Mutant Brain packs 16 fully-customizable Eurorack-compatible outputs ( 4 CV outs and 12 gate/trig outs).
Each output can have its own function from triggers, gates, clock divisions, sync signals, poly keyboard playing, velocity, sequencer, transport, LFOs, and more. The reissue version (Edition Noire) is based on a redesigned hardware with the same functionality as the original module.
I am very happy to see that a part of Hexinverter Electronics is coming back under the Erica Synths brand.
