Erica Synths Output Mixer, the eight EDU DIY release in collab with Moritz Klein, giving you audio mixing, panning, and amplifying in a module
With the EDU DIY Module series, Erica Synth has consistently released beginner-friendly, affordable modules over the past few months. Especially here: they were created in collaboration with the German content creator Moritz Klein.
They developed 9 modules and 1 case as a DIY kit. All are very classic but enhanced with clever, useful extras. Particularly noteworthy is the extensive manual with which the module draws you into the developer world. And the EDU DIY module number 8 is out now.
Erica Synths EDU DIY Output Mixer
The new EDU DIY Output Mixer is a panning mixer that tasks two mono inputs with adjustable gain and pan options. You can pan the signals to the left and right to create stereo output. There is also an integrated amplifier that allows you to boost the signal for use for headphones. That’s a very clever addition, especially for compact, mobile setups.
As a reminder: Erica Synths and Moritz Klein have developed 9 different modules as kits. So far, 8 modules have been published: a VCO, a sequencer, a noise/S&H module, a mixer, a VCF, envelope, and a dual VCA. Plus, the DIY case. The only module missing is the wave folder, which will follow soon.
