YouTuber and musician Thoracius Appotit releases a new patch bank with 260 new patches for the Arturia MicroFreak hybrid Synthesizer.

The MicroFreak is a fascinating hybrid Synthesizer that combines digital algorithms with an analogue filter like no other. So good that everything sounds very musical and harmonious. The little Synthesizer is also capable to store your favorite sounds in its memory and having more ready-to-use patches are always very welcome.

Thoracius Appotit has recently published a lovely patch library for Arturia’s best-selling hybrid synth you should check out.

I started by recreating the type of classic, retro ’70s and ’80s synth sounds I’ve done on my previous analog and virtual analog synthesizer banks. However, as I became more acquainted with the MicroFreak, I leaned more and more into the digital “waveforms” offered and discovered this is where a lot of the unique character on this synthesizer is to be found.
