IK Multimedia Syntronik V-80, a Synthesizer library featuring sounds from legendary Yamaha synths is free for a limited time.
The legendary Yamaha synthesizers CS-80 or GX-1 are priceless instruments for most musicians. To be able to enjoy these sounds you have to buy either a hardware replica or a software emulation. The latter is the most affordable for most musicians.
For a limited time, you can get these legendary sounds as a free download.
Syntronik V-80
The Syntronik V-80 is a virtual instrument based on samples of the legendary Yamaha CS-80, GX1 and CS-01 synthesizers from 1976-1980. The CS-80 was Yamaha’s flagship take on the analog polysynth. The CS-80’s voice architecture is an exercise in layering, filtering and modulation.
The library includes over 1.5 GB of sound content, 2000+ samples and 102 instruments. They can be loaded in the Syntronik CS software, which is also free. Once loaded, you can play the instruments on different layers but also edit them. You get detune options, different filter emulations, envelopes, tons of effects, and player utilities.
V-80 is not an emulation but a solid library that gives you vintage synthesizer sounds. In the case of some of the legendary Yamaha synths.
IK Multimedia Syntronik V-80 is a free download (reg. $59 USD) until March 17th, 2022 at Audio Plugin Deals. No purchase is required.
